Capgemini Morocco and La French Tech Casablanca Forge Partnership to Boost Morocco's Tech Ecosystem
The deal dovetails with Morocco’s Digital Morocco 2030 strategy, which targets 240 000 digital jobs and a larger share of GDP from technology. By focusing on knowledge sharing, startup support, and talent development in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, responsible innovation, mentorship, and digital skills, the collaboration seeks to help Morocco meet those ambitious goals.
Badra Hamdaoua, Capgemini’s Managing Director for Morocco, said the alliance “lays a structural foundation for the country’s tech ecosystem” and “defines a clear path toward building the next generation of Moroccan tech champions.” The company added that the partnership will “help shape a more innovative, inclusive and connected technology ecosystem” by linking talent, expertise, and entrepreneurial ambition.
La French Tech Casablanca, whose label has been renewed for 2026‑2028, serves as a bridge between French and Moroccan tech communities. It operates 78 communities in 57 countries and coordinates initiatives such as French Tech Central, French Tech Tremplin, and French Tech Rise. Through the partnership, Capgemini teams will sit on committees and thematic communities led by La French Tech Casablanca, bringing together startups, corporations, institutions, investors, and technology specialists.
The first joint initiative launched under the agreement was the Elles Tech Tour program, organized by La French Tech Casablanca. On 29 June, Capgemini hosted women entrepreneurs and startup founders in a series of exchanges that encouraged greater participation of women in the technology sector. Discussions at the event focused on artificial intelligence, digital transformation, leadership, and the contribution of female talent to Morocco’s growing innovation ecosystem.
Capgemini has operated in Morocco for over 15 years, employing more than 5 200 people across technology services and engineering entities. The company is a leading provider of consulting, digital services, and engineering solutions worldwide. Its presence in Morocco positions it to support the country’s ambitions under Digital 2030, particularly in building AI capabilities and strengthening cybersecurity.
The partnership is expected to drive initiatives that support startups in scaling their impact, strengthen bridges between corporates and entrepreneurs, and accelerate the development of talent equipped to lead responsible, high‑impact technologies. By combining Capgemini’s technical expertise with La French Tech Casablanca’s network, the alliance aims to position Morocco as a regional hub for digital innovation and attract investors, entrepreneurs, and technology experts.
As Morocco continues to pursue its Digital 2030 goals, the Capgemini‑La French Tech Casablanca partnership represents a concrete step toward creating a more robust, inclusive, and globally connected technology ecosystem. The collaboration will likely expand to additional programs and events in the coming months, further integrating Moroccan startups into international networks and advancing the country’s digital transformation agenda.
