On 18 June 2026, DoubleVerify Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: DV) unveiled DV Neura, a cognitive engine that plugs into its DV Media AdVantage Platform (DV MAP). The new system lets advertisers tap media‑quality and performance data through conversational AI and automatically adjust campaigns within defined guardrails.

DV Neura’s first major feature is support for the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open‑source standard that lets AI models reach out to external data sources and tools. Advertisers can now employ Anthropic Claude to query the DV Neura Insight Agent, which combs through DV’s media‑quality and performance data and returns insights and recommendations in natural language. The company said it will add integrations with Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot and other assistants later in the year.

The engine also ships with the DV Neura Activation Agent, a tool that will autonomously execute approved campaign changes inside advertiser‑defined guardrails. The Activation Agent is slated for release in Q3 2026.

According to DoubleVerify, DV Neura’s hybrid architecture blends large language models, specialized machine‑learning models and deterministic rules. In content classification, the system has boosted output by nearly 300×, enabling faster, more consistent interpretation of emerging topics and nuanced meaning across text, images, video and audio.

Performance metrics underscore the AI‑driven impact. Since January, DV has monitored or blocked over 500 million impressions on AI slop sites and other low‑quality generative‑AI web environments. In addition, DV Scibids AI optimizes 25 billion impressions each month, helping advertisers improve efficiency and maximize outcomes.

DV Neura is organized around four core pillars: 1. Media intelligence – AI stops fraud, filters AI slop and sharpens content classification, protecting brand equity and raising media quality. 2. Adaptive performance – AI‑powered bidding and multi‑touch attribution measure business impact and drive media investment. 3. Open connectivity – Secure access to DV’s data, insights and capabilities via conversational AI, APIs, MCP integrations and ADCP support. 4. Agentic execution – Insight and action link through the Insight Agent and Activation Agent.

Mark Zagorski, CEO of DoubleVerify, said the new engine "connects DV’s AI‑powered capabilities across our platform, from verification and content classification to performance optimisation and outcomes measurement, while also enabling flexible, dynamic agentic workflows that connect insight with execution across the campaign lifecycle."

Gina Whelehan, group director of strategic partnerships at Butler/Till, added that the technology "helps our teams move faster and drive stronger outcomes while maintaining governance and accountability."

The launch arrives as the digital‑advertising industry shifts toward agentic buying, a trend accelerated by generative‑AI tools and the demand for real‑time optimisation. By offering a unified, AI‑driven framework, DV Neura aims to give advertisers the transparency, control and measurable performance they need in an increasingly automated environment.

Today, DV Neura is live for Insight Agent interactions via Anthropic Claude, and the Activation Agent will arrive in Q3. The company is also working on further MCP integrations and additional AI assistant support. No regulatory filings or court actions related to the launch have been reported.

DoubleVerify’s announcement reinforces its commitment to AI, presenting a platform that blends verification, performance optimisation and autonomous execution in a single, open‑standard‑based system.
