French Security Company ATERMES Showcases AI-Powered Defense Suite at Eurosatory 2026
Eurosatory, held biennially at the Parc des Expositions de Paris Nord Villepinte, is the largest international event for land and air‑land defence and security technology. The 2026 edition will host exhibitors from more than 60 countries and attract professional visitors from the defence and security sectors. ATERMES will occupy stand B31 in Hall 4.
ALTORE is a fully integrated counter‑UAS system that combines layered detection, identification and neutralisation capabilities. The platform is the result of a partnership with several industrial players and is designed to counter hostile drones that pose an asymmetrical threat to military and civilian sites. According to the company, the system delivers rapid response and decisive action for field commanders.
SURICATE is an AI‑driven surveillance camera that has reached full industrial manufacturing capacity. The system uses multispectral sensors and embedded edge computing to detect and identify land and coastal threats. Deliveries of SURICATE have already been made to customers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The company plans live field demonstrations in the third quarter of 2026 at locations in France and at the ATERMES facility.
BARIER is a tactical perimeter‑defence solution that deploys networked border‑control beacons. The beacons provide continuous situational awareness in challenging environments and are intended to support border security and critical infrastructure protection.
In addition to its product portfolio, ATERMES is launching an MRO department that will offer lifecycle support, predictive maintenance and repair services for deployed systems. The division will leverage the company’s experience as an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for major defence actors, a business line that has become a significant source of revenue.
AI is central to ATERMES’s technology roadmap. The company applies advanced algorithms to automate threat detection and data synthesis while maintaining human oversight for mission control. ATERMES emphasizes a customer‑centric development model that incorporates operational realities into system design.
The firm is expanding its international footprint, targeting the Middle East, Africa and the Indian subcontinent. CEO Lionel Thomas said the company is focused on providing “networked visibility, tactical precision and long‑term operational resilience” to partners in those regions.
Visitors to Eurosatory can meet the ATERMES team at stand B31, Hall 4, to observe live demonstrations of ALTORE, SURICATE and BARIER and to discuss the company’s MRO services and OEM capabilities.
