Jacqueline Fernandez Unveils AI Avatar Offering Book Club and Personal Reflections
In a move that blends entertainment with technology, Fernandez has introduced an AI‑powered digital avatar that invites fans into her world of books, late‑night musings and personal anecdotes. The avatar, crafted by Galleri5—the in‑house AI studio of Collective Artists Network—captures Fernandez’s personality and worldview rather than merely mimicking her image.
Variety reports that the avatar’s centerpiece is a Book Club. Through this virtual character, Fernandez shares titles that have shaped her thinking, adding commentary and recommendations. The platform also highlights what the launch calls her “2 AM thoughts” – brief reflections and stories drawn from various chapters of her life that fall outside the usual celebrity content formats.
Fernandez, who first rose to prominence with the psychological thriller Murder 2 (2011), has since starred in high‑grossing Hindi films such as Kick (2014) and Vikrant Rona (2022). The Sri Lankan‑born actress, crowned Miss Universe Sri Lanka in 2006, told Variety that she has always loved sharing what inspires her. “I’ve always loved sharing the things that inspire me, whether that’s a book, a conversation, a lesson I’ve learned, or simply a thought that’s stayed with me,” she said. “This avatar creates a completely new way to do that. It allows me to connect with people through stories, ideas, and experiences that might not always find a place on social media.”
Galleri5 has been developing AI avatar and production capabilities across its talent network. The Fernandez build is described as one of the more editorially driven applications of that technology, focusing on ideas and literature rather than brand promotion. The avatar employs AI conversation tools, voice synthesis and interactive narrative technology to create a conversational experience that feels personal.
Collective Artists Network framed the launch as part of a broader push to deepen audience engagement while preserving each creator’s authentic voice. The agency said new content, Book Club additions and conversations will roll out over time.
Unlike other celebrity AI projects that center on product endorsements, this avatar is not a marketing tool for Fernandez’s film projects. Instead, it offers a platform for her to share insights she feels are meaningful to her audience, setting it apart through its emphasis on books and personal reflections.
Industry observers note that the move aligns with a growing trend of creators using AI to extend their reach beyond traditional media. The technology behind the avatar—combining natural language processing, voice cloning and interactive storytelling—has been honed by Galleri5’s work on film and television production.
At launch, the avatar is accessible to fans via a dedicated web interface. Collective Artists Network plans to keep the experience fresh by adding new book recommendations and reflections over time, though it has not announced any commercial partnership or monetization strategy.
The project demonstrates how AI can forge a more intimate connection between a public figure and her audience, offering a curated space for discussion and reflection anchored in the creator’s own interests and experiences.
