Sahasra Electronics and Zoho Corporation turned the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center into a showcase of ambition at COMPUTEX 2026, the world’s largest technology trade show. The Taiwan External Trade Development Council and the Taipei Computer Association pulled in a record 6,000 booths from 1,500 exhibitors across 33 countries. In total, 111,312 buyers and visitors from 152 countries—including Japan, the United States, South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, India, Thailand, and Malaysia—traversed the halls, all eager for new products, partnerships, and technology collaborations.

Sahasra Electronics, part of the Sahasra Group, debuted a fresh line of microSD cards. Strategic account manager Ankur Dwivedi reported that the company received encouraging responses from customers in China, the United States, Europe, and the United Kingdom. He added that the event was being used to explore new partnerships, technology collaborations, and potential joint ventures. The microSD cards expand Sahasra’s existing portfolio, which already includes RFID chips and eSIM chips, and the company has teamed with German brand HAMA to export cards produced at its Bhiwadi facility under a ‘Made in India’ label.

Zoho Corporation, a provider of cloud‑based business software and SaaS applications, highlighted its growing presence in Taiwan. Eng Kit Goh, Zoho’s market lead for Hong Kong, South Korea, and Taiwan, said the region is a growing market with good potential and that many businesses are engaging with Zoho’s products. Goh noted that India’s reputation in software development and technology services has helped build trust among Taiwanese customers. Zoho is headquartered in Chennai, India, and has offices in 80 countries, with its U.S. headquarters in Austin, Texas.

MicroSD cards are a staple component in smartphones, tablets, and embedded systems, and demand has risen with the proliferation of high‑resolution cameras and 5G devices. Sahasra’s partnership with HAMA enables the company to supply cards under the ‘Made in India’ label to European and Asian distributors. Zoho’s suite of cloud applications includes customer relationship management, business analytics, and other modules that support small and medium enterprises.

COMPUTEX 2026, held from June 2 to 5, focused on artificial intelligence, computing technologies, and startups. The show saw significant participation from Indian buyers, although only a handful of Indian companies exhibited. Major global players such as Nvidia, Intel, Marvell, and Qualcomm used the venue to unveil new products and initiatives. The event’s scale and breadth underscore its role as one of the world’s most influential platforms for AI and technology innovation.

India‑Taiwan technology ties have deepened in recent years through strategic partnerships in semiconductor manufacturing, AI infrastructure, and electronics supply chains. Taiwan supplies technical expertise and manufacturing capabilities, while India offers a large consumer market, raw materials, and a skilled workforce. Organiser James C F Huang, chairman of TAITRA, said the council hopes to see greater participation from Indian companies in future editions and extended a warm invitation to India’s tech industry. The collaboration between the two sides is expected to grow as both economies seek to strengthen their positions in global technology supply chains.

The exhibition concluded on Friday, with Sahasra and Zoho continuing to pursue overseas partnerships. While the companies have not announced specific deals, their presence at COMPUTEX 2026 signals ongoing efforts to expand their international reach. The next edition of the show will likely build on the momentum generated this year, offering further opportunities for technology companies from India and beyond to engage with buyers and partners in Taiwan and the wider region.
